What we cover
Stack NPC Editorial reviews tech tools, productivity apps, and SaaS platforms — focused on the workflows real teams use every day.
We test and write about software that practitioners actually depend on:
- AI tools used by independent developers, marketers, designers, and operators
- Productivity stacks for solo founders and small teams
- B2B SaaS that small businesses can adopt without a procurement process
- Honest comparisons between alternatives, including cases where the cheaper option is enough
We publish in five regional editions (United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Germany), with content adapted for the way teams actually work in each market.
Editorial standards
Hands-on testing. We sign up for the products we cover, run real tasks through them, and document the friction. If a tool is recommended, someone on the editorial team has used it for the use case described.
Update cycles. Software changes constantly. We revisit our top-traffic articles every 90 days at minimum and update pricing, features, and recommendations when material changes happen.
Transparency about AI. We use AI-assisted research and drafting in our editorial pipeline. Every article goes through human review for accuracy, source verification, and editorial judgment before publication. We will not publish a recommendation that has not been vetted by a human editor.
Independence from sponsorships. We participate in affiliate programs (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We do not accept payment for positive reviews, sponsored placements that are not clearly labeled, or guest posts from product vendors.
How we make money
Stack NPC is supported by:
- Affiliate commissions when readers purchase through our links — at no extra cost to them
- Display advertising through ad networks
- Sponsorships and partnerships that are always disclosed in the article
Our editorial decisions — what we cover, what we recommend, what we criticize — are independent of revenue considerations. A product earning us a commission can still get a negative review if it deserves one.
The team
Stack NPC Editorial is a small editorial collective. Articles are written, reviewed, and edited by humans. AI tools assist with research, drafts, and image generation, but the final decisions rest with the editor of record on each piece.
Where individual authors are credited, their bio includes their professional background and areas of expertise.
